Welcome to High Plains CDC.  Since January of 1995 we’ve stood for the creation of opportunity and equity for the rural communities of northwest Nebraska.  We’re for sustainable change and for insuring quality, safe, affordable housing for all.  We accomplish this by building and substantially rehabilitating homes for low-moderate income homeownership.  We provide outreach and education on the Fair Housing Act.  We provide opportunity for growth in our communities through Chadron YouthBuild, an education and job training program for 16-24 year old young adults who transform their lives while they transform their communities.  We stand for rural economic development by creating affordable housing opportunities.  We stand for the transformation of young adults by providing leadership development, education and job training.  We stand for sustaining the rural economy of the High Plains through community development efforts.  We’re High Plains Community Development Corporation and we take a stand for rural America.
