Who We Are

High Plains Community Development Corporation has been a HUD Approved Housing Counseling Center since 2000. Our homebuyer education program is REACH approved and we serve as a NIFA Community Partner. As a HUD Housing Counseling Center, a variety of housing counseling services are offered through HUD certified housing counselors on staff. Services are provided to those seeking homeownership; homeowners facing possible default on their mortgages and seeking assistance to avoid foreclosure; renters needing guidance on their rights and responsibilities as tenants and landlords seeking education on their rights and responsibilities. Services also include budget and credit counseling; homebuyer education; education and outreach for the Fair Housing Act; and reverse mortgage counseling for homeowners 62 and older.
